WHAT WE DO!

Anger Management:  Offer weekly groups on anger management and conflict resolution techniques for youth through middle and high school ages.  On a case-by-case basis we will conduct one-on-one anger management counseling sessions for younger youth or adults.

Career Counseling & Work-Readiness Program:  Offer workforce development and career advice to youth and adults 16+.  Create a comprehensive seven-week work-readiness program and career drop-in center.

Community Service Projects:  Offer community service and service learning opportunities from youth and adults seven days a week at two primary locations in Chula Vista and National City.

Counseling:  Offer one hour, one-on-one individual, family, and group counseling sessions for youth and adults.

Fatherhood is Forever:  Offer weekly pregnancy prevention groups for males that discuss roles and responsibilities, life development skills, parenting, and self-empowerment.

Fitness-4-Life:  Offer weekly physical fitness groups for young girls in middle school and high school and discuss nutrition, health, and well being education.

Gang Awareness through Mentoring and Education (G.A.M.E.): Offer comprehensive gang prevention and intervention groups twice a week for 32 weeks for active gang members and at-risk youth of gang activity.

Girls Rise Up:  Offer weekly pregnancy prevention groups for females that discuss roles and responsibilities, life development skills, parenting, and self-empowerment.

Parenting from the Heart:  Offer weekly sessions of parenting groups in English and Spanish.

Special Community Events:  Offer special community events or conferences throughout the year to promote mission, vision, and services.

Substance Abuse Classes:  Offer weekly groups on substance abuse and chemical dependency techniques for youth of middle and high school ages.

THC Breakers:  Offer weekly break-dancing sessions for interested youth and adults.

Tutoring:  Offer weekday homework assistance and tutorial services to children in elementary school grades 1 through 6.  Middle and High School students welcomed as well if needed.

Youth Empowerment Workshops:  Offer weekly self-esteem, life skills, and leadership development seminars that promote personal and professional excellence.

At this time all services are FREE but looking into a sliding scale fee model for services.
