Turning The Hearts Center Participating in The 2009 "Fiesta Del Sol"!

The 4th Annual Fiesta del Sol is a FREE two-day street festival, August 8th & 9th from 11am-7pm, celebrating the history, diverse cultures, andengagement of the people of San Diego. It is a fun,FAMILY-FRIENDLY, alcohol and tobacco free event focused oncreating positive change by empowering our communities.Given the success of the previous three years, the 2009 Fiesta del Sol promises to be even better!

2008 Highlights

  • Over 60,000 in attendance over 2 days
  • Eleven college students of diverse backgrounds were recipients of the 1st annual Roger Cazares Scholarship Fund
  • Six themed pavillions focused on Health, Education, Children, Community Taking Action, Young Adults, and Arts and Culture
  • Over 25 interactive activities for children & families
  • Over 250 unpaid volunteers worked at the Fiesta del Sol
  • Over 100 food, non-profit, and business booths

Come out on Saturday or Sunday and visit the Turning the Hearts Center Booth!  We'll see you there!
